The ILAQH is located at QUT Gardens Point Campus, 2 George Street, Brisbane, Australia. 

The facility is located on levels 4 and 6 of M Block and at level 1 of H block. Above the laboratory, at the roof of the buildings, there are a number of sampling points for air quality monitoring that are connected to the instrumentation in the rooms below. Separately to the main laboratory a large facility, a filter-testing rig, is located at the bottom of H Block.
